Data Modeler - The Data Modeler creates a single, consistent view of database entities.

The Data Modeler is an advanced 'mapping tool' that allows modelers to define the information sources and data to be used for analysis purposes - removing the complexities of database structures for users.

Network Miner - The Network Miner is designed to expose clusters, or networks, of related information.

The Network Miner searches your data looking for particular types of data that are related by particular types of associations (links).

This tool exposes connected entities and reveals hidden networks of associations to uncover heavily connected data objects that may be targets for further analysis and investigation.

Database Query - Database Query is an advanced data extraction tool that allows users to find and load targeted information based on specific criteria.

The Database Query tool guides users through the search process via a 'search wizard' that populates the query based on user selections such as the data source and data type.

Reports - VisuaLinks provides several report formats that you can generate from any loaded data. Each of the reports includes a snapshot of the data as it is displayed.

You can generate reports with default options or customize report settings and save the customized settings in a template for future use.

Disambiguator® - The Disambiguator® is an advanced data cleansing and conversion tool. Virtually any database system is subject to data variations due to data entry errors, misinterpreted or missing data, format inconsistencies or even the deliberate entry of improper data.

The Disambiguator is designed specifically to identify and compensate for inconsistent, incomplete and erroneous data values.

The Disambiguator has a number of built-in data cleansing and transformation functions and is flexible enough to implement custom- scripted operations.

Geographic Maps - The VisuaLinks® Mapping feature incorporates a robust geographical information sub-system. This capability lets users plot data with geographical references on a variety of graphical maps included with VisuaLinks.

Mapping features include standard and vector graphic formats that support layering, zooming, symbol placement, and many others.

The maps can be printed, saved in a variety of formats and sent to other users for data sharing and collaboration.

Alerts - The VisuaLinks Alerts service is a monitoring and notification system that automatically notifies defined users when a particular event occurs. Alerts is fully configurable allowing users to define the events that trigger notification.

Alerts sends notices, through push technology, to alert individuals of data changes. Alerts can be set up to notify specific users whenever new information is entered into a database, a specific type of data is modified, or a scheduled service returns results.

Database Walk - Search your data sources for any entity directly or indirectly related to a particular entity.

Frequency - The Frequency algorithm plots attribute values allowing you to quickly and visually identify shared values.

Group By - The Group By algorithm places data based on the objects' attribute values creating groups of objects that identify and expose similarities.

Level Span - The Level Span algorithm places data in a hierarchical layout based on an exhaustive association search.

Starburst -- The Starburst algorithm quickly and clearly shows link relationships among the data elements using a best-placement approach to expose clusters while minimizing line crossings.

Temporal Grid - The Temporal Grid algorithm plots date-based information to display patterns of activity.

Time Line - The Time Line algorithm plots date-related data on a time- based chart.

Weighted - The Weighted algorithm calculates links and places objects in groups from largest to smallest based on the number of objects in the group.
