Abstract GENPAC is an advanced data/text mining solution that can be used to extract relationships among biological concepts such as gene/protein, chemical compounds, and disease from life science literature. GENPAC includes an advanced life science dictionary which enables it to recognize concepts quite accurately. GENPAC provides the information extraction result in the form of a detailed table and a molecular interaction network via Cytoscape (see Note 1). GENPAC can be used to support your life science studies and drug development in regard to literature analysis for gene discovery, target discovery, and lead discovery.

GENPAC provides direct access to the knowledge extracted from more than 13 million Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE) abstracts.

The combination of a constant manually curated GENPAC dictionary and a GENPAC information extractor based on cutting edge natural language processing (NLP) technology provides high quality data to meet end-user requirements.

Note 1: Cytoscape is a bioinformatics software platform for visualizing molecular interaction networks and integrating these interactions with gene expression profiles and other 'state' data.

System Requirements

The Windows PC with Subio Platform was installed.

We support both Firefox 3.0 and Internet Explorer 7, but considering the performance of functional annotation by Gene Ontology, we strongly recommend Firefox 3.0 or later.

*Browsing of saved history is possible in the environment including Windows.
